Literacy Work Stations

We are going to work on this for awhile to get a lot of practice noticing errors in writing. This will help the kids transfer that skill to their own writing.
New Concept: Today I want to show you something a little different. I am going to spin my spinner and pull out the cards to match my spin. My spinner landed on 1 ten and 4 ones. So I will take my 10 and my 4. Then I will build these numbers with my counters. Watch what happens when I slide the 4 over the 0. What number did I get? Does that match the number of counters I counted out? Let’s count them to be sure
