March 6

Today we will again be focusing on combining sets but this time to 20. Again, this is not a “true” addition lesson, but rather getting the kids to become confident in combining two sets of objects for a total or “in all.” Also, today we will introduce the kids to 'counting on' to combine. It is important to explain the reason behind counting on, especially with larger numbers.
