Happy birthday Dr. Seuss!
~The kids will be taught by The Cat in the Hat today! Your child will choose if they want to be Thing 1 or 2 and will become the students of the cat!
Sight Word Focus: each
Reader's Workshop: Through the story Who's in the Shed? by Brenda Parkes, the kids will build academic vocabulary and concepts related to farms, review concepts of print, and make inferences about the text.
Literacy Jobs
*We will resume Book Club this week.

Writer's Workshop
After reading the Cat in the Hat, the children will write what their favorite part of the story was.
Math: Roll-A-Dot CubeWhat ever number the dot cube lands on, the kids color in the corresponding portion on the green eggs and ham sheet.
~Nurse Susan came to our classroom on Friday to teach the children about proper tooth brushing. She brought teeth for the kids to brush the cavities off and a model of teeth not properly brushed.
