Sight Word Focus: have

Phonemic Awareness: Segment Phonemes within Words
The children slowly say each sound in the word and after we stretch it out, we always put the word back together.  EX:  /s/  /t/  /a/  /n/  /d/ - stand

 Digraph: /th/
On whiteboards, the kids will write /th/ words that I say.

   Writer's Workshop: Narratives Have a Problem & Solution

Math: No formal lesson today, however, in preparation for our 100th day of school (February 5), the kids will be making a book. It is 10 days away so each day leading up to it, they will put 10 of something on a page. The book will be full of 100 things when it is scheduled to come home on the 100th day.
