Phonics: Short Vowels Review

Phonemic Awareness: Identify Medial Vowel Sounds

I will say some words and the children will tell me the vowel sound they hear in the middle.

   Handwriting: Simple Words and a Sentence

                   Kindermath: About 16: Draw it

In addition to doing activities about 16, the kids will draw and label a set of ten and some more to the following word problems:

I see 10 red cards and 5 black cars. 

I have 10 dolls and 2 babies.

I saw 10 snakes and 4 lizards.

My mom has 10 shirts and 6 shoes.

MLK Activity: We will do this activity to show the kids that even though we look different on the outside, all of us look the same on the inside.
