Kinderliteracy: My 5 Senses
Using the story, the kids will answer simple recall questions such as: What is the job of an author/illustrator? Is this a fiction or nonfiction book? What is a fact we learned from the book? We will clarify the vocabulary words within the story (crackle, danger, signals, pupil, protect).

Kinderwriting: Adding Labels
The children were excited to start labeling yesterday and we will continue that work today. Again, it may sound simple to us, but for brand new writers, it takes time to think of the letter/sound and apply that to their paper.
Kindermath: Comparing Sets One to One
The kids will work on counting objects in a set and then comparing that amount with their partner's set. They are working on these math vocabulary words: compare, greater, less, same.
