Math: Add with ObjectsWe begin a new unit today called Addition Word Problems. The kids will work with snap cubes to solve simple word problems: "I had 3 pencils and 2 crayons. How many in all?" "I had 2 chairs and 6 more chairs. How many chairs in all?", etc.
