Language Arts: The story The Enormous Watermelon, is being reread to build fluency, analyze story elements, and learn what a synonym is. (Enormous almost has the same meaning as gigantic.)
Math: Break the Train Using Pattern BlocksTheir work focuses on:
~~Determining what comes next in a repeating pattern.
~Constructing and taking apart repeating patterns.

Smart Room Highlight: Carrying a Santa Sack across the North Pole houses. On the way back to the start, hop on one foot on the reindeer.
