Writer's Workshop: Continue Revising Our Class Story Using Spider Legs
Yesterday, the kids learned about the caret to insert words in their writing. Today, the are learning another strategy: Spider Legs. This is simply a strip of paper with a new sentence written on it and taped into the story

Math: How Many Cars in My Train?
The kids pick a car card that tells them the color their train will be. Next, a dot cube is rolled to determine how many cars will be in the train. Their work focuses on:
~Identifying the unit of a repeating pattern.
~Extending a repeating pattern by adding on units to the pattern.
