Letter Study: Oo
Sight Word Focus: do
 Phonological Awareness: Segment Initial Sounds(h-orse, p-ark, n-ote, etc.)
I will use a puppet and call it "Choppy" to animate "chopping" off the first sound.
Language Arts: HOMEWORK ALERT! You will see an activity come home tonight that reinforces the comprehension strategy, analyze character, that the kids have been learning about. Return it by Friday this week. Thank you!!
  Writer's Workshop: We will focus in on good listening habits that everyone needs in order to participate successfully in Writer's Workshop. This is especially important when the kids share their work to the group.
DAILY 5: 10 minutes of writing stamina was accomplished yesterday! I am tickled at the progress these kiddos are making!
PhyEd Day

Math: Today is the last day of our unit on 2D & 3D Shapes. The kids will play "Simon Says" to direct their partner to put the 3D shape somewhere using positional words such as: beside, in front of, etc.  

SMART Room: The Ipads continue to be a huge hit!
