 Language Arts: The kids will answer text-dependent comprehension questions to identify cause and effect...watch for this paper to come home with your child tonight.

Math: Today we are going to talk about skip counting by 10’s to 100. I may say something like this: "How many fingers do you have? (Call two students up to hold out their hands.) How many fingers are there now? I can count them all or, since I know there are 10 for each person, I can skip count. Watch “10, 20”. What if I had 6 friends? Continue providing numerous examples and models of skip counting. We will make a 'hand chart' to show how many fingers we have in our classroom."
*Zero the Hero is also visiting today...Day 140!
Computer
Miss Casebolt will be coming to our classroom with the Ipad cart during our scheduled computer time for the next few weeks. The Computer Lab is being used for MCA testing.
