 Language Arts: We will reread Teddy on the Move to build fluency skills and look for action verbs throughout the story (hurry, dashing, rushes, zips, running).

 Writer's Workshop: The children are creating an Earth Day Kid that has a story on its shirt about keeping the earth healthy.
Math: Again, using the Pony Bead 10 Rods, they are building numbers to 100. Two spinners will tell them what to build. For instance, if the first spinner lands on 40 and the second spinner lands on 5, they would build 45 by taking 4 rods of 10 and 5 more to make it. Today, they will write the next three numbers that come after the number they make.

Computer
Miss Casebolt will be coming to our classroom with the Ipad cart during our scheduled computer time for the next few weeks. The Computer Lab is being used for MCA testing.
