  Language Arts: Using the story, People at School, the kids will 'Echo-Read' to build fluency as well as work on retelling the story.

Handwriting: lowercase b & f

 Writer's Workshop: Informational Report...What are some safety rules at home? The kids will write about some rules in their journal.

 Daily 5!

Math: Today we are going to play “Count ON!” again. This time we are going to add a little challenge. We are going to start with 10 in the cup. So Player 1 will put 10 cubes in the cup. Then Player 2 will pull a card and count on. So if Player 2 pulled a 6 it would sound like this, “11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.” Then I can check to see if I counted correctly by using the 10 frame.

 Smart Room Highlight: Using small pencils and following the step-by-step instructions, the kids are drawing objects of their choice.
