Math: Our next lessons will take a closer look at story problems. We have been working with number bonds in the past, but today we will BE the number bond! I will call 5 students up to have them act out the number bond. We are going to act out this story problem. There were 3 friends playing basketball in the park (have them stand in one of the hula hoops). There were 2 friends playing on the swings at the park (have them stand in the other hula hoop). How many were in the park altogether? (have all of the students move to the larger hula hoop).
