The children worked hard to cut all the pieces for the scarecrow on Friday but we ran out of time to put it together. They will do that this morning.

**At 2:00, we will go on a costume parade throughout the elementary hallways.

 
**The children will assist in making the "FRANKENtreat" pudding snack (See Picture above) and hear spooky stories.

~We enjoyed celebrating Claire's birthday...

~On Friday, our classroom received a special delivery from Mr. Sawatzke. Inside, we discovered it's our class pet, Journal Giraffe! Someone will be selected each Friday to bring him home to spend the weekend with you.

~Have a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating! We invite you to send in any extra candy that you won't eat to send to the troops over seas.
~Keep having your child practice their sight words! If you need a list, let me know what list number to send home with your child.
