Today we begin our focus on beginning blends: A consonant blend is when two or more consonants are blended together, but each sound may be heard in the blend.

Math: Composing/Decomposing Teen Numbers

We have built number bonds before. Today we are going to build them with larger numbers. I am going to spin the spinner and build the number with my manipulatives. Then I will use my numbers like I did before. Now I can write this down on my number bond page. Finally I will use my math talk card. I included a picture to show you the steps to this activity.
