Math: Creating Numbers with Rods of 10 

 

New Concept: I know we are getting really good at counting by 10’s. Count these with me (pull one 10 rod out at a time as you count by 10 to 100). So if I had 3 of them, how many would I have?
I want to show you a game we are going to play. First we will spin the spinner. Then I will build it with my pony bead rods. Now I can write it. Finally, I will count on and record the next 3 numbers.

          Science: Stars!
We begin a new unit all about stars today. To launch this unit, the kids will tell what they already know about stars and we will place those thoughts on a piece of chart paper.

~Wear blue tomorrow for Autism Awareness.
~Due to the Post Prom being set up in the cafeteria tomorrow, there will only be one option for lunch. Bag Lunch: Ham and Cheese sandwich, bag of sun chips, apple, carrots and ranch dressing
