Math: Race to a Dollar
New Concept: Yesterday we put items into groups of 10, then counted by 10 until we reached 100. Did you know this is a handy thing to do when you are working with money too? As you know, a penny is worth 1, but a dime is worth 10. Select a student to act as your partner as you show them how to play Race to a Dollar. After each turn count how many you have on your board like this, “10, 20, 30, 31, 32, 33.”Whole Group Explore: Today you will play Race to a Dollar with your partner. Be sure you remember to tell your partner how much money you have after your turn.

~The field trip permission forms and payment is due tomorrow.
~Wellness Wednesday tomorrow as well.
