This week's theme is Veterans and the focused text for the week is What is Veterans Day?  by Elaine Landau. Today, the children will hear the story for enjoyment to build an interest in the topic.

  Irish Pride Celebration Today at 10:15

 Again, this brings our elementary students together builds community and school pride! Students of the month for October will be recognized as well as students new to Maple Lake. The new character word for the month will be introduced: respect.
 We'll end the celebration by singing our Irish Pride song. 
~We are going to the Irish Pride Store to spend our earned Irish Pride tickets!
