KinderLiteracy: My 5 Senses
Using the story, the kids will answer simple recall questions such as: How are the children using their senses in the pictures? Our tongues are described as bumpy. What clues help you to understand the word bumpy? Which one of your senses is most important to you? Which one do you think you use the most?
KinderWriting: Illustrators Retell Their Stories
Just like verbally retelling a story, we can do the same with illustrations. Again, we are taking very detailed steps to becoming confident writers!
Library Day!
KinderMath: One More
The kids will work on the concept of one more playing the game Dump the Cup and Compare. To play the game, the kids dump a cup that contains 10 two-sided colored chips as shown below and compare who has more/less by lining the chips up one to one.
Time for Kids: Mummies!
Today we are going to begin learning about another important group of people called the Wampanoag. Native Americans, or Indigenous people, lived in America thousands of years before the Pilgrims and other colonists came. The Indigenous group that lived near where the Pilgrims settled are known as the Wampanoag. |

~There is a menu change for tomorrow. The Bosco Sticks and Chicken/Cheese Quesadilla options will NOT be available. Instead, there will be a Thanksgiving meal of turkey roast, roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole and squash.
