     September 6 & 7, 2023
(This blog update will be the same for today and tomorrow.)

Again, welcome to the wonderful world of Kindergarten! It was great meeting with all of you! We are in for an INCREDIBLE year of discovery and learning and I am THRILLED to be a part of it! A friendly reminder that each day I plan to highlight the main activities in this blog so you can talk with your child about specific things that go on during their day. I will also let you know of upcoming events and reminders so it will be important to read it each day!

A couple of years ago, Mr. Ronnenberg created a video about Morning Movers. To watch the route they take, click here

The children are learning about the routine/procedures/expectations involved during breakfast/lunch. Ask them about what a Lunch Monster does and what a Lunch Friend will do instead.

The kids will meet Pip the Pup (stuffed animal) and hear more about who he is in the story, Let's Meet Pip the Pup. Pip is the mascot for our phonics curriculum so the kids will becoming very familiar with him this year! After hearing the story, Pip will take the kids on a tour of the building.

How will crayons help us learn? How do we use them? How do we take care of them? We are learning about *All-Star* Coloring:
~Color in the lines.
~Fill in the white spaces.
~Colors that make sense.

Chrysanthemum has 13 letters in her name. How many letters do each of us have? Your child will make a flower that has the same number of petals as the letters in their name.

The kids will spend time with Mr. Ronnenberg (Phy Ed) and Mr. Brummer (Music) today.
