KinderLiteracy: Jamie O'Rourke and the Big PotatoThe kids are answering these questions today...
Literacy Jobs
Library Day!
The kids will be doing a couple of hands-on activities to work on combining numbers to make 10. First, they will play Spill the Cup with 10 red/yellow chips inside to find as many combos to 10 they can. Next, they will play Flip the Cup which follows the same idea except the kids will have cups to turn over to make combos to 10 like the photo below.
In this Read-Along lesson, twins Mimi and Lulu try different ways to catch a mysterious nighttime visitor…until they hit on just the right solution. The lesson includes a short exercise where students imagine how to design a good monster trap, and then pretend to be sneaky monsters.
~The book order is due Wednesday, March 20.
~Report cards are in the Wednesday envelope. As always, let me know if you have any questions! 😃
