Color Word Focus: blue
Phonics: We are beginning to learn about the digraph "th" today. Watch for a letter coming home today that explains who the "H Brothers" are. The letter explains the fun way we introduce th, ch, sh, and wh.

 Language Arts: This week we are using the story Katy's First Day of School to work on making connections and inferences. 
Before the story is read, we will complete a Sensory Experience Chart as indicated below.

 Writer's Workshop: Using Descriptive Words in Writing

Math: We begin work with Numbers +1 and Numbers -1 today. The kids will help make number cards to 10 that will be used throughout the upcoming lessons.
