Today, I will reread parts of The Rainbow Fish so the children can answer 'text-dependent' questions such as these:
~How does little blue fish feel when Rainbow Fish refuses to give him a special scale?
~What happens to Rainbow Fish when he gives away his first special scale? What evidence in the text tells you this?
