Phonics
Our phonics program comes from the University of Florida Reading Institute (UFLI, pronounced "you fly") which teaches children explicit and systematic phonics so that they have a stronger foundation in both reading and writing. This program is researched-based and aligns with the Science of Reading-essentially, how parts of the brain are wired to make connections for phonemes (sounds), graphemes (letters), decoding (sounding words out), and encoding (writing words).
