After hearing the story Rainbow Fish for a second time, the kids will ask/answer simple recall questions as well as learn related vocabulary (glide, shimmer, shocked, admire, wise).
Phonics: Alphabet Knowledge & Letter Formation (We did this yesterday.)
Today we will learn how to sky write, trace, and practice making circles and curves. This will help the kids write some letters of the alphabet. Sky writing is a way for us to practice shapes using big movements. They use the hand they write with as it is extended out in front of them with their finger pointing. Next, they place their other hand on the shoulder of their writing arm while it writes up, down, side to side. This is sky writing.
