Today the kids will work with my guidance creating one large, life-sized 100’s chart. We will start by having the kids help think through how to place the numbers down and talk about each set of numbers. For instance, when you put down all the numbers that start with a 2, what does that really mean? All the kids will help build the 100’s chart hands-on. After the 100’s chart is made, the kids will help count out all the ways they’ve learned like by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s.
The author of Has Anyone Seen Woodfin? is visiting our school at 1:00 today. It's very exciting to see a real author/illustrator!
Social Studies: George Washington***This is a QR code reader the children will work with for the remainder of the week that tells about the presidents.
