Using items from our classroom, the kids will sort them into categories and analyze the data. For example, the kids have a mixture of 8 bear counters, 5 crayons and 3 paperclips. First, they sort their mixture and place the items in vertical columns. Next, they write the total under each column. Last, the analyzing happens...
