We will focus these vocabulary words within the story (croak, gills, habitat,  poison) and answer these questions:
1) Who is the author? What is their job?
2) What is one fact we heard from the book?
Writer's Workshop: Oral Storytelling

riter's plan what they are going to write about on each page by orally saying out loud the words first, next, lastUsing a story they are currently working on, the kids will share their story with a partner while touching the parts of the story.

Math: Sort and Analyze Data (Day 2)
We will sort which month our birthdays are in then find out which month has the most/least. How many more/less in one month vs. another, etc.

Intro to Graphing
After hearing The Great Graph Contest by Loreen Leedy, the kids will learn how to use a graph using these four steps: Pose a question, collect data, record the results on a graph, and analyze the data.
