Phonological Awareness: Oral Word Discrimination-Is one of these words different?

Arts: Concept Web-Families
We will build a web like this today as well as an introduction to a Reader's Theater Script
DAILY 5: Last week we made it to 3 minutes of 'Read to Self' stamina. Our goal is 4-5 minutes today...
Math: Sorting People
I choose characteristics that are visually obvious about some of the children in the class, such as: those wearing a black shirt, something in their hair, etc. These kids are separated from the others and counted. We also discuss those that don't meet the criteria as " Those who do not have_____." and count them as well.
Smart Room: Take a look at our 'Smart Spots' where we spin and try popping like a kernal of corn, and laying on the ground like Superman.
