Phonological Awareness: Oral Word Discrimination EX: chalk, chase, chalk
Concept of Words: Counting how many words are in a sentence said verbally.
Language Arts: Main Idea and Supporting Details
Learn strategies for analyzing questions and finding answers, clues, and evidence.
Handwriting: Letter B
Always start from the top! The language to create this letter goes like this. "Big line, little curve, little curve."
Math: Children need to understand that representations of things are related to numerals. Rolling a dot cube and quickly recognizing the number of dots and finding the corresponding numeral will be our focus today.
Miss Slettedahl is presenting a lesson on the sequence of handwashing today. The children will go through the actual procedure and then put pictures in order of those steps.

SMART Room: The children will learn how to do the Superman and Popcorn moves. See if they can show you.
