 Language Arts: We will summarize chapters 1, 2, and 3 using Animals in Their Habitats by using a big chart to show the important points.

 Writer's Workshop: After reading the story The Three Little Pigs, the kids will choose their favorite character and tell the reason why. Next, I model writing my opinion of my favorite character and why. It will say something like this:
I like the third pig best. He is the smartest pig.
Lastly, the kids will write in their journal on the topic of their choice. We will spend next week reviewing book review components through the use of this book.
We're going shopping at the DAILY 5 Bookstore (Book Room)-time to return the old and get some new!
 Math: Day 3 of Numberline Subtraction
