Writer's Workshop: After retelling the story, The Three Little Pigs, the kids will choose their favorite part and tell the reason why. Next, I model writing my favorite part and why.
Lastly, the kids will write in their journal on the topic of their choice.

 Smart Room Highlight: Friendship Roll
Keeping hands together, roll down the mat while trying to keep your bodies from rolling off the mat. This takes teamwork!

DAILY 5
 The kids will hear about George Washington's life and answer comprehension questions to the story.
 Math: Using a pan balance, the kids are weighing different items to see how many pennies it takes to make the weight the same on both sides.

~Our Spanish teachers taught the kids how to say hello, animal names, and the ABC's in Spanish.
