 Writer's Workshop: We will go over all we have learned about book reviews. Beginning Friday, we will start one on The Three Little Pigs.
 A storybook reader is scheduled for 10:10 to read Pinkalicious.

 Language Arts:  Using the story Animals in Their Habitats, the students will work with chapter 2 on woodpeckers to summarize important ideas for this chapter on a chart.

  DAILY 5

 Math:  Using a numberline, the kids will work on subtraction equations. In partners, one child rolls a dot cube and places a cube on the corresponding number (4) on the numberline. That same child rolls the dot cube again (3) and moves the cube that far backwards on the numberline. 
The other partner writes the equation: 4-3=1
