The Scientific Method
Scientists Make Conclusions
Connect: Remember on Friday when we said that a scientist analyzes their data and creates a graph to show what happened?
Teach: Today I am going to show you how scientists share with others what they found out. We say that the scientist makes a conclusion. Let me show you what I mean. Here is the graph that I colored Friday. Now, I’m going to share what the graph tells us. I can write it in this box. Model how you write your results.
Active Engagement: Now it’s your turn. You are going to be a scientist! I want you to share your findings and make a conclusion. We will write a common conclusion about the gummy bear experiment.
Link: Remember boys and girls, today and everyday good scientists know we always make a conclusion.
**The kids will make the Scientific Method flow chart too.
