KinderLiteracy: The Snowy Day  
We will focus on the vocabulary words within the story (piled, path, pretend, sank,  firm) and answer these questions:
1) Where does the story take place?
2) Who are the main characters?
3) What is the problem?

Literacy Jobs

  KinderMath: Count By 2's Part 2

We will start the lesson by reading the story, Eggs and Legs by Michael Dahl which is about counting by 2's and pairs of objects. The students will use 10 pairs of color cubes (2 red, 2 yellow, etc.) and a set of count by 2's number cards. Partners will first make the pairs from the snap cubes. They will then lay out their snap cubes with space between each set of cubes. Next, they will a lay out the number cards under each set to match and lastly, go back through to practice counting the cubes by 2's.

 Phy Ed Today 

 ~Again, Happy Para Professional week to Karina, Susie, Alicia, and Alissa! We appreciate everything you do for our class!

~The book order is due tomorrow.
~Rise and Read RSVP's are due soon and adults must attend with children.
~We are collecting any spare change all this week to help raise funds for I Love to Read month prizes. The kids can make a wish when tossing the coins into the wishing well!
