Letter Study: Tt
Popcorn Word: you
Phonological Awareness: Blend Syllables: A bag is filled with random two/three syllable objects. The object is said in its segments and then taken out of the bag to confirm its name. (pen-cil/pencil)
Segment Words by Syllables: Using blocks, the kids will 'build' the word block by block to match the number of syllables in the word.

Math: Two Kinds of Cube Trains
This lesson concentrates on the ABAB pattern in a train made of cubes. Some children will make random color trains while others will make the ABAB pattern. This will lead into a discussion of comparing the differences between the two kinds of trains. Their work focuses on:
~Determining what comes next in a repeating pattern.
~Comparing repeating and non-repeating arrangements.
