Writer's Workshop: Introduction to the Writing Process Cycle
Phonological Awareness:
Blend Syllables: The children hear words said in segments and blend the syllables to make a word. (mar/bles-marbles)
Segment Initial Sounds: Identifying if two words have the same beginning sound (van/vest; cave/bed)

Language Arts: Work on Fluency skills using the rhyme Humpty Dumpty. The children will practice reading this rhyme with pausing to a full stop.

~We are well on our way to being in the lead for a pizza party for food shelf donations. It warms my heart to see the children drop the items in the box.
