 Language Arts: The kids will perform the book Reader's Theater script Farm Animals with a focus on fluency.

 Math: We will begin a new unit on Monday that works with place value. Today, the children will work in small groups with geoboards, pattern blocks, connecting cubes, number/number word writing on whiteboards and an addition/subtraction activity.

Art:  Drawing Lesson: Cars and Trucks
The concepts are...
1) Cars and trucks are made up of simple shapes.
2) Looking at a model helps us to draw.
3) Some simple shapes we see on cars/trucks are: squares, circles, triangles, and rectangles.
4) Pictures have a foreground and a background.
