Number Word Focus: nine
Phonics: -op Word Family Language Arts: Through the Reader's Theater book Farm Animals, the children will work on making inferences before reading, build concepts about print, build academic and sight word vocabulary, and build fluency through choral-reading.
Writer's Workshop: We have finished our work on book reviews and will now be introduced to informational reports. 
Math: The next couple of lessons work with the concept of 'equal'. The idea is for the children to work with splitting a number up so everyone has the same amount. For instance, If I have 12 donuts and there are 4 people, how many donuts will each receive?
