 Sight Word Focus: were
Phonics: -ing word family
 Language Arts: Using the poster Homes, the kids will..
~Learn strategies for analyzing questions and finding answers and clues and evidence in a text.
~Use signal language to identify comparisons and contrasts.
~Answer text dependent compare-and-contrast questions.


Handwriting: lowercase r & n.
 Writer's Workshop: The kids will write their opinion on something given to them. This coincides with our work on compare and contrast.
Math: The kids will use a spinner that will land on something that says this... 
"1 ten, 3 ones". The kids will fill an egg carton 10-Frame first and put the remaining 3 on the outside. They continue spinning to try other combinations such as 1 ten, 7 ones; 1 ten 2 ones, etc.
The kids will also work in their Splash Math account on the Ipads.
Computer class today.

Project: Welcome Spring!
The children will make a picture of flowers in pots.
