Math: Greater Than, Less Than

New Concept: Today we are going to play the same game we played yesterday. We will still use two cards. Can I show you a trick? When you are adding these two numbers together, you can just pick the largest number (7) and count on. Why do I start with the largest number?
Whole Group Explore: Today you will play Monster Munch with your partner, just like you did yesterday. You will each take two cards and add the numbers together. Place the greater than or less than symbol down.
Student Application: Completing  Less Than, Greater Than sentences by counting on from the larger number.

Computer Class Today
Again, because of MCA testing, Miss Casebolt will bring the Ipad cart to our classroom to work on coding. The kids are beginning computer science. With code.org students will  begin to learn how to create computer programs that will help them learn to collaborate with others, develop problem-solving skills, and persist through difficult tasks.
