 Writer's Workshop: How the Text is Written Helps Convey Meaning
Sometimes writers capitalize the letters in a word to convey an expression. For instance, "MOM!" yelled the boy. Seeing this way in writing triggers the reader to understand the intensity of the message. We will try that in our writing today.

Math: More work with the Rekenreks...This time the children will be creating simple addition problems on it.

Earth Week: We will hear the story of Litter Red Riding Hood who doesn't take care of the earth. At the conclusion of the story, the children will sequence the events as they happened in the story.
~We enjoyed hearing the penguin read to us yesterday...
~Volunteer Training is Monday, April 25 from 6-6:30. If you plan to come with us on our field trip to Sea Life at MOA on May 11, you must have this training.
