We will focus on the vocabulary words within the story (community, volunteer, emergency, risk) and answer these questions:
1) Who is the author? What is their job compared to the illustrator?
2) What is one FACT we heard from the book?

  Irish Pride Celebration today at 10:20.

 Students of the month for February will be recognized as well as new students to our school. The new character word for the month will be introduced: honesty. We'll end the celebration by singing our Irish Pride song.
