The kids will use 8 connecting cubes to make trains with two different colors like the image below. Again, at this point, we are working on the solid foundation for addition without using symbols.

In this Read-Along lesson, the kids listen to an illustrated digital storybook with student participation. In the story, Kevin becomes a weather detective to figure out why he keeps losing his warm clothes. In the activity, Weather Window, students track the weather over four school days.
