'Tis the season of Candy Corn!
Letter Study: Review letters/sounds (G, H)**The kids will work on an activity where they find the letter that matches the beginning sound of a picture.
Language Arts: Continuing to work on visualizing characters in a story.
DAILY 5: The kids were introduced to the 'Work on Writing' component of DAILY 5 yesterday and accomplished 11 minutes of stamina. You can help your child understand the goal of DAILY 5 by telling them that they do these activities to get better at reading. I always state this goal before we start DAILY 5.
Math Stations: ~Candy Corn Grab & Count (The kids get to eat it when they are done counting.)
~Roll & Count Dice Activity on a candy corn shape.
~Grab & Count & Record: How many can I grab?
Library Day!
Project: The kids are making a Candy Corn Kid
SMART Room Highlight: Using clothespins to sort out a pan of small Halloween erasers.
