Handwriting: H (Big line, big line, little line)
DAILY 5: The kids are pretty much maintaining their 'Read to Self' stamina...yesterday they accomplished 9 minutes! We are ready to begin the second component of DAILY 5: 'Work on Writing'. They have opportunities to choose from a variety of writing activities that may include: alphabet tracing, writing friends' names, using whiteboards to write the 'popcorn' words, writing words that start with a certain letter, etc.
Math: Grab & Count
The children grab one handful of blocks and record their findings.
Smart Room: "Feed the Monster" (Tennis ball with a slit for the mouth is squeezed for candy corn-shaped erasers to be placed inside.) Gavin, Dalten, and Paxton are working hard at it!
