A storybook reader is scheduled for 10:10 to read Skippyjon Jones in Mummy Trouble.
DAILY 5: We now have three components available for the children to choose from during DAILY 5. Read to Self, Work on Writing, Word Work. Again, our goal is to do three rounds of Daily 5 where your child chooses a different component and which activity to do within that component.
Writer's Workshop: We are beginning a segment of time each day devoted to writing. Before children can write, we must work on building oral language and the joy of writing. They will hear the story Something from Nothing by Phoebe Gilman.
